Veterans Outreach Court 2022
If you are a military veteran in Hillsborough County and you need help with criminal cases and traffic citations, we are holding a special event in November to assist you.
The 2022 Veteran’s Outreach Court will be held at James Haley VA Annex on Friday, November 4, 2022, through the continued collaboration of the Hillsborough County Clerk of Court and Comptroller, the 13th Judicial Circuit, Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office, Hillsborough County Public Defender’s Office, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and local veterans organizations.
Registration is now open and spots are limited. You can pre-register here.
Military veteran participants must pre-register between September 19, 2022 and October 21, 2022. Please note participation is limited to the first 100 military veterans who qualify so don’t wait. Registrations will close sooner if all seats become filled.
Driving and court records will be reviewed in advance. Qualified participants will receive a Notice of Hearing at the mailing address you provide when you register. Hearing notices can also be viewed online.
Driver’s license suspension cases are excluded from this event including suspensions due to unpaid child support, DUI, felonies involving traffic offenses, habitual offender license revocations, suspensions resulting from violations that occurred outside of Hillsborough County, and suspensions for failure to complete driver training programs, driver improvement courses and/or alcohol or substance abuse education. A private attorney consultation is recommended in those cases.
