CLERK OF COURT & COMPTROLLER

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FLORIDA

Passport Saturday

The Hillsborough County Clerk of Court and Comptroller’s Office is one of the agencies authorized by the U.S. Department of State (DOS) to review and accept U.S. passport applications before they are sent to the DOS for processing. Our Official Records department normally accepts these applications only during normal Clerk business days, which are Monday thru Friday. However, periodically, Clerk Cindy Stuart opens up our Passport office and offers passport application acceptance on a Saturday to help those customers who just cannot get here during the normal workweek to have their passport application reviewed. There is no additional charge to come in on this special Saturday and, if you do not have your official passport photos yet, as an added convenience we will be offering passport photo service on this day for just $15 for the pair of photos. It is not necessary to pre-register/schedule an appointment for Passport Saturday – walk-ins are welcome -- but if you want to do so, you can use our Clerk Express appointment portal to secure your spot.

The next Passport Saturday is on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM EST. The location is the Pat Frank Courthouse, located at 419 N Pierce Street, Tampa in Room 140. Please make sure to check the comprehensive FAQs on our Passport page so that you know all of the required documentation and forms that you will need to bring with you, along with the correct forms of payment. We accept applications for new U.S. passports only for adults, but will accept new and renewal passport applications for children under age 18. If you have questions about Passport Saturday, please email us.
