If your driver's license is suspended, Operation Green Light offers you the opportunity to get back on the road by addressing overdue court obligations while saving money in additional fees.
Pre-registration is required, and some restrictions apply.
Participants must register in advance between March 11, 2022 and April 25, 2022 (registrations will close sooner if all seats become filled). Participation will be limited to the first 450 qualified registrants, a maximum of 150 per day. Driving and court records will be reviewed in advance. Qualified participants will receive a notice in the mail of their scheduled time. A Notice of Hearing will be mailed to the mailing address that you provide. Hearing notices can also be viewed in your case online.
Hillsborough County’s Tax Collector will attend the event and provide same day “Fast Passes” for the downtown Tampa location on May 12, 2022.
Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles Flow Bus will be on-site May 5, 2022 and May 19, 2022 for reinstatement of driving privileges once court obligations are complete.
Registrants who satisfy their court ordered financial obligations may be able to reinstate their driving privileges by visiting the Hillsborough County Tax Collector at any time [external 3rd party website]. Check the status of your driver's license [external 3rd party link] for free online.
