Employee: I’m an IT technician I. Employee: Excellence in Service to me means taking pride in your work. Employee: Excellence in Service means the ability to support our teammates, but also the public that we serve. Employee: Doing everything in your power to make sure things are done properly, efficiently, and with a level of objectivity and independence. Employee: Excellence in Service means going above and beyond for the customer. Employee: We help the public as much as we can. A lot of times, when customers come to the courthouse, they’re very nervous. But we try to help them to relax and answer any questions that they may have. Employee: I’ve had many people cry out there that say, “No one has ever explained to me what this means.” Employee: Doing everything that you can do correctly. Doing it right the very first time. Employee: Taking the extra step – being honest, being professional, being selfless, and being reliable. Employee: I like to go above and beyond their expectations. I like to say I create Raven Fans. We account for and audit Hillsborough County’s $8.3 billion budget. We’re responsible for and invest all of Hillsborough County’s cash, and earn millions of dollars for the county that’s used for operations and capital projects. We collect and account for all of Hillsborough County’s $3.5 billion in revenues, and we pay $2.9 billion of the county’s expenses. We safeguard and protect court records, redacting confidential information and make public records available when you need them. We track and keep trial evidence. We maintain most county records like mortgages, deeds, and marriage licenses. We process civil and criminal court documents. We assist people filing for domestic violence restraining orders.
