Veterans Outreach Court for Homeless and Low Income Veterans
The Clerk’s Office, in collaboration with the 13th Judicial Circuit Court, participated in the annual Veterans Outreach Court for Homeless and Low Income Veterans at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital.
The special event, spearheaded by County Judge Daryl M. Manning, adjudicated 210 cases involving 45 veterans. The court also cleared 34 driver’s licenses. Veterans were able to reduce their court costs from $45,000 to $1,600, easing a significant financial burden.
